It was our bad luck not to see Shilpa Shetty performing at IPL season 2 closing night where she was supposed to perform with Katrina Kaif and Akon.
Shilpa says, “I was just not prepared. It was an international platform, not some village nautanki. I had to be fully ready. And I just didn’t get time to rehearse. So I regretfully had to say no. But I’d rather not give anything less than my best when I’m representing my country.”
However Shilpa who is the co-owner of Rajasthan Royals says, “So what if my team wasn’t playing. I think I’m sporting enough to enjoy the game as just a part of the audience.”

He has already played the character with negative shades in superhits like ‘Baazigar’, ‘Darr’, and ‘Anjaam’. Talking about SRK, there is no denying the fact that he livens up every character he plays. Now, he is set once again to don on the cap of a baddie in Yash Raj’s ‘Dhoom3’. ‘Dhoom’ had John Abraham as the villain and ‘Dhoom 2’ had Hrithik Roshan as the ace robber.
Reports have it that SRK immediately accepted when he was given the offer by the banner. The shooting of Dhoom 3 may start early next year. However, the director of the movie has not been finalized as yet.
Few days back the state cultural department had announced the “Raj Kapoor Jeevan Gaurav award” (Lifetime Achievement) to Rekha for her contribution to Hindi cinema.
The state government officials, however, were in for a surprise when Rekha told them that she was not inclined to accept the award as it went against her own concept of work and self-image.
The Maharashtra cultural affairs minister Harshwardhan Patil who spoke to media persons, said Rekha felt that she could not accept a Lifetime award because she was still pursuing an active film career, which has not ended.

The actor, however, asserts that the actress did help him discard his inhibitions and they kissed like real-life couples! Earlier, Hrithik was in the headlines for locking lips with Aishwarya Rai in ‘Dhoom 2′ and ‘Jodhaa Akbar’.
Now, even Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan besides Hrithik’s wife Suzanne seem to be upset with the growing relations between Hrithik and Mori following their intimate kissing scene in ‘Kites.
‘For Rakesh Roshan it is the first international project and the movie is being screened at the on-going Cannes international film festival.
Ranbir Kapoor will play double role in the film Mera Jahaan. This film will be directed by Vikramjit Singh who has also penned the story and screenplay. The story of Mera Jahaan happens in two different time periods and so Ranbir will appear in two totally different get ups.
Further, the actor will be seen sporting many different looks in the film. Deepika Padukone, Ranbir’s real life love plays his love interest in Mera Jahaan. It is worth mentioning here that Anil Kapoor’s daughter Sonam Kapoor declined to play the lead role because the film had two heroines.
