“We are producing an episodic for NDTV Imagine which will have seven television actresses paying tribute to Bollywood actresses, right from Madhubala to Aishwarya Rai. The actresses will perform on their famous dance numbers. The name and the telecast date and time of the show are still undecided.”
Sources also suggest that the show would include names like Sayantani Ghosh, Sangeeta Ghosh and Mona Singh.
Sayantani says, “The show is an all-girls show and I am paying tribute to Meena Kumari and Aishwarya Rai. I will be performing a Meena Kumari’s mujra and will dance on Aishwarya’s ‘Crazy kiya re’. Both the songs are poles apart and I feel very lucky to get an opportunity to showcase my versatility and talent.”
