He might be sending over boundaries on the field, but off it, Yuvraj Singh seems to have taken a fancy to getting bowled out. While Kim cost him a wicket, Deepika’s Om Shanti Om with Ranbir Kapoor sent the second for a toss and if rumours are to be believed, actor Raima Sen is the latest bowler to have stumped this Man in Blue.

If sources are to be believed, once the duo was done with their assignments at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, Yuvi escorted Raima out of the venue at Pragati Maidan and coaxed her to join him for a night out. “Yuvi and Raima were partying till wee hours in the morning. Initially, they kept to themselves but later ventured around to say ‘Hello’ to designers Manish Malhotra and Manav Gangwani who were at the night spot too. They looked like an item,” reports the source. The story also goes that whenever Yuvraj is in town, he heads straight to the abode of the Sen sisters in Juhu. CT got the latest spinner in Yuvi’s life talking.

How busy are you professionally?
There’s Sachin Yardi’s C Company with Tusshar Kapoor and Madhureeta Anand’s Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aayen with Randeep Hooda and Arbaaz Khan.

Now that you’ve mentioned Arbaaz’s name, what’s with the rumour mills being abuzz with you throwing tantrums on the sets?
I’ve got to find out who started that rumour. I was called on the sets at 6 am when my shot was scheduled for four in the evening. Every other artiste had a van to themselves and I was asked to share a van with Arbaaz. I put my foot down. Next I was told that the other artistes would be asked to wait outside their make-up vans so that I could use it. I didn’t relent to such a request. That would have been an insult to the other artistes.

Don’t you feel you’re a grist for the tabloid media’s gossip mills what with you having supposedly scored with Yuvraj?
From the looks of it this is the latest media fodder for readers and viewers in constant need of a ‘scandal’ fix, especially when it involves the Beautiful People. Yuvraj was present at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week to walk the ramp for Raghavendra Rathore and I was there for the make-over for Ambika Pillai. Later, we all partied in a group. But with two single souls spotted together, how can the gossip mills not have a bite of the meat?

But you seem to have handled the wagging tongues pretty well?
One can either clarify or be tight-lipped about the fracas. I’ve been lucky to clarify my stand.

So, such rumours aren’t going to affect your friendship with Yuvi?
Not a bit. We know each other for some years. I’ve been linked to Randeep Hooda as well. Ironically, I’m now doing a film with him.

So, you don’t believe in keeping your man under wraps?
If I do have a boyfriend, why would I hide him from the world?

Why is it that Riya usually chooses to be tight-lipped about her affairs?
I think she is fed up of clarifying. Riya prefers ignoring such rumours.

And she has your consent in the action?
I don’t know. I chose to come clean. But if such stories keep circulating, maybe, I too would tread the silent path. People would stop believing me if I had to clarify repeatedly.

Back home, you had to handle a crisis recently?
I was in Kolkata when my granny was hospitalised. But I surely miss her and wish I could be with her.

Finally, is Raima ready for an item number?
Not right now. But if I ever choose to do it, it would depend on who the director is and the importance of the number to the film.
