There is no stopping Aamir Khan. Always setting new goals for himself, always experimenting with new styles, this actor of his own kind will next be seen as the mythological half man-half woman ‘Ardhnarishwar‘ in a Tata Sky ad. This ad, the first for the company by Aamir will go on air from today.
The ad has been conceptualised by the company’s marketing team along with Rediffusion. Bollywood writer-director Neeraj Vohra has directed the ad. This 70 seconds ad will show half of Aamir as a Punjabi girl, and the other half as a boy.
‘We are proud to have Aamir working on the ad and happy with the outcome of the final product. No other actor could have done the same so effectively,’ said Vikram Mehra, chief marketing officer, Tata Sky.
Their relationship has been on a roller coaster ride for about four years now, but tis commendable that they have actually stayed together for such a long time, given, that she is as beautiful as an angel and he has a reputation of a bad boy!
But they are very much together, for Salman Khan threw a lavish bash at his own apartment for her lady love, Katrina Kaif as she turned 24 years old this July 16. The guest list, penned down by Salman himself was definitely impressive as it included stars like Aamir, Zayed, Ranbir, Dino, Sonam, Karishma, Deepika, Neha Dhupia, Shah Rukh and many more.
The gorgeous actress, who likes to keep a low profile, however was busy working and promoting her forthcoming ‘Singh is Kingg’ during the day and joined her friends for a party in the evening. Last year, Katrina had a memorable birthday celebration in London with her family. This year, her mom and sister were with her on the Birthday. As for Salmans’ gift to Katrina…. We sported a glittering diamond bracelet on the lady’s wrist!

Excitement is going to reach its peaks tomorrow on the smaller screen with the rocking combo of three Khans- Aamir, Salman and Imran Khan on ‘10 Ka Dum’ this Friday, July 4, 2008 at 9.00 P.M. on Sony Entertainment Television.
After the hit episode with Yuvi and Bhajji, this time we have the dynamic duo of Aamir and Salman who gave us the hit comedy ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ some 14 years ago. Again, this is also keeping in tow with the publicity of Imran’s ‘Jaane Tu….Ya Jaane Na’ which is set to hit theatres.
The episode kick starts the magic when Aamir and Salman enter the sets on a cycle to the beats of the popular song ‘Do mastana chale zindagi banane’ from their old hit.
Salman as usual introduced Aamir with his favorite double-meaning punch, “Yeh to purush hi nahin hain…Yeh Mahapurush hai!” To be recalled here that this happens to be a dialogue from their film Andaz Apna Apna.
So, do not miss the magic and get hold of this rocking show tomorrow only on Sony Entertainment Television.

Aamir Khan Productions’ next release Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na is already generating a lot of curiosity with each passing day. While the promos are rocking big time, we bring you yet another interesting piece of information on the film.
While it’s a known fact that Aamir Khan has been actively involved with this project, even wifey Kiran Rao has played a big part in the making of the film. Every time there is a crisis, Aamir Khan and friends of Kiran Rao, remember only one person and that’s Kiran Rao. When Aamir Khan took over the reins of Taare Zameen Par as director, Kiran Rao was there at each and every moment, helping him out as an assistant.
Even during Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na, it was Kiran who came to Abbas Tyrewala’s rescue, when one of his assistant directors fell sick during shooting. Confirms a source from Aamir Khan Productions, “Kiran Rao is always there for everyone around whenever there is a crisis. She is an angel who steps in to help everyone around. She had stepped forward to help Aamir and his team, on Taare Zameen Par and now extended her support even for Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na. It so happened that Abbas and gang were shooting in Mumbai when the first assistant director fell seriously sick in middle of shoot. So, Abbas in panic made calls to all his friends to check if someone could step in to help. First assistant director is integral to the shoot and without that person it is quite impossible to shoot. When Kiran Rao heard of this, she called up Abbas and said that she would join him immediately. She is truly an angel who steps in to help everyone around”
It may be recalled that Kiran had even flown to Jaipur to help Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra during the shooting of Dilli 6 when one of his A.D.’s had to rush home. Seems like Kiran indeed believes in the saying ‘A friend in need is a friend indeed’.

Aamir Khan’s fondness of veteran actor Shammi Kapoor is a fact that is now known to one and all. Recently, Aamir himself confessed that he considers Shammi-ji as his lucky mascot and hence asked the legendary actor to launch the music of his nephew Imran’s debut film, Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na. Even last year, when Aamir turned director with Taare Zameen Par, he took Shammi-ji’s blessings before releasing the music of the film.
