Talent cannot be hidden nor can it be suppressed nowadays nearly all the Bollywood actors and actresses are opting to turn to producers I wonder why? Maybe acting is not paying off that much or it’s just a question of experimenting. There are talks that actor Sameera Reddy may begin to produce films soo. It was her sister who actually suggested that they get into production, and Sammy Baby was more than happy with the idea. Apparently, Sameera had always wanted to get into business. But when we contacted the actor, she said nothing and left the announcement for a later stage, once something concrete has been set up. Actors turning producers has become commonplace these days, and the news of one more joining the bandwagon is kind of boring!

If the long list was not enough, the next celeb to join the band wagon of actor-turned-producer is hot hot Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty. She is all set to produce a yet untitled big budget action-comedy film under her production house S2 Global Productions.
The film will have two heroines with obviously Shilpa playing the one. Search is on for the second role. According to her publicist, Bhagwagar, Shilpa has now become choosy about her roles and takes up only those which give her complete creative satisfaction.
Shilpa’s forthcoming movies include Sunny Deol and Neeraj Pathak’s ‘The Man’, and an international venture titled ‘Hanuman’ with filmmaker Uru Patel. ’The Man’ has Shilpa portraying the role of a simple, dedicated girl who rises to instant global stardom - very similar to her real life experience. In ‘Hanuman’, she would be portraying Goddess Sita.
Our only concern are the tattoos on Shilpa’s body. So, what do we see next? A tattooed Sita?

Actors are known to do all kind of things to hide from fans or from getting mobbed…
Recently, while shooting for a film in Hyderabad, Amrita Rao together with Shreyas Talpade and his wife, went to the market because the ladies wanted to buy some bangles. So, donning burqas, the three set out.
Now for Amrita this was a comfortable proposition. What Shreyas had not bargained for was how uncomfortable it would get in a jeans, shirt and burqa.
Shreyas looked extremely funny in this attire – with his physique, jeans and shoes that were peeping out. Apparently, Amrita and Shreyas’ wife just couldn’t stop laughing looking at him and teased him a lot.
An embarrassed Shreyas then removed his burqa and preferred wearing a cap and sunglasses and go shopping. Now that’s what we call paying a heavy price for stardom, what say?
Is Amrita Rao in love?

Rumour has it that the girl has a boyfriend at last! Amrita Rao, who always has mommy for company, seems to have grown up.
The girl has lost her heart or nearly lost it, to a guy called Farhan. And no, Ayesha Takia (whose boyfriend’s name is also Farhan) need not worry. We are talking about a certain Farhan Saeed who replaced Atif Aslam in the Pakistani band ‘Jal’. Apparently, Amrita was shooting for a music video for their new album, and in the process bonded with Farhan. Apparently, Farhan has been frequenting Mumbai and is not missing any opportunity to spend time with Amrita.

Like-minded thriller kings, Abbas Mastan, always have been experimenting with new materials in their films to endow the audience with refreshing cinematic experience.
Now the duo is back with their multi-starrer sporty film “Race”. We shared few moments with the legendary director-duo and here is a scrap off the table-talk:
Q.: How do you like to present your characters?
A.: We always like to give our actors the characters that they have never portrayed before. Just for example, you can take Saif’s character into consideration. He has never played any such character. So, we thought, let us experience giving him such a different look.
Q.: Your last two films “36 China Town” and “Naqaab” did not get expected response from the audience. You are known as the king of thrillers. Where do you think you went wrong in those films?
A.: Actually “Naqaab” appeared quite small a film and we guess it was little ahead of its time. It would have worked better provided it got a delay of two years.
Audience was not ready to accept the subject and they rejected the film. As far as “36 China Town” is concerned, I don’t think audience didn’t accept the film. It worked well at the box office. At the same time, distributors also accepted it well.
