
Amid the war of words between the three Khans - Aamir, Shah Rukh and Salman - the Ghajini star Aamir has declared that it is none other than superstar Amitabh Bachchan who is still the number one in Bollywood.
“For me Amitabh Bachchan is No 1. Do Lata Mangeshkar, Sachin Tendulkar and Amitabh Bachchan say they are number one? No one who sits on the top needs to say he is number one. Others keep claiming to be there,” said Aamir. Recently, Shah Rukh sparked a controversy by proclaiming himself the biggest brand and saying there cannot be any competition with him. Commenting on that Aamir said: “I don’t believe in competitions with others. I only compete with myself.”After a phase of cold war with his contemporary Shah Rukh, Aamir says he can’t dare to fight with him.”Do you think I could dare to fight with Shah Rukh. He is a good friend and so I can’t fight with him. I respect him a lot,” said Aamir, who was in capital over the weekend to promote his forthcoming film Ghajini.
The actor, who was is town giving his fans the Ghajini cut at an event, was in a jovial mood but tried his best to avoid queries about his cold war with Shah Rukh.He joked that by turning into a barber for a day, he was even promoting Shah Rukh’s next venture Billo Barber.His antics did not just end at that.Aamir’s forthcoming ventures is titled Three Idiots and the actor said the title should be rightfully given to the three Khans of Bollywood - including himself, Shah Rukh and Salman.“My forthcoming film after Ghajini is Rajkumar Hirani’s Three Idiots and I play the character of an idiot with R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi. But I think Shah Rukh, Salman and I are truly the three idiots of Bollywood,” Aamir said.He also cast a dig at Salman when he asked the crowd whether they want him to flaunt his body that he has toned up especially for Ghajini.”Who wants to see my eight packs?” he asked. But when there was a loud “Yes, we want to” from the audience, Aamir said: “Only Salman can show his packs. I can’t do it. It’s not my cup of tea.”

Due to the terrorist attacks that happened last week, Big B has denied participation in two big events. He was to be one of the main speakers at former US President Bill Clinton’s Global Initiative as well as Live Earth. In order to express his solidarity with the common Mumbaikar, he refused to participate in it. In his latest blog he has said that he was to be in Hong Kong at the invitation of ex President Bill Clinton to participate in his Clinton Global Initiative and to speak on a topic that would elevate the conditions of the universe. But he cancelled it because at this hour of terror he couldn’t imagine leaving his country and going to a foreign land and discussing foreign issues that too for a foreigner. The Clinton Global Initiative was supposed to be held on the 2nd and 3rd of December and in it global leaders of different backgrounds across the world were to meet and discuss different topics of energy resources to sustained development and other pressing issues of the times. He said he had also cancelled his participation in Live Earth, the Al Gore initiative.It was supposed to be taking place on the 6th and 7th of December in Mumbai where lots of other Bollywood celebrities including Aishwarya, Abhishek, Farhan Akhtar and Hrithik Roshan will be performing by lending their voices to promote the cause of preventing global warming.
Lots of other international artists were joining them too.According to Big B even though the money collected from the show was going for charity,he simply refuses to sing dance and perform when the city is in such crisis.
Sanjay Dutt adores Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan like his own father and brother. But even though he hesitates to approach Big B for his film. Sanjay wanted Big B to act in his film but he is shy to approach him and has left information in his office. On knowing, Bachchan’s reaction was “All he (Dutt) has to do is ask.”Dharam Oberoi, CEO Sanjay Dutt Productions, confirms, “Sanju Baba does want Mr Bachchan in the film to be directed by Soham Shah. He quietly left a message. But now when he and Bhabhiji (Manayata) return from their holiday Baba will drop in to finalize it.”The film also stars Zayed Khan in a pivotal role but interestingly, Sanju baba will not be acting. He will only play the role of producer. There is an interesting story lying behind the script, it is the same script that Soham was supposed to make for Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and later for Ajay Devgan.
Dutt loved the script and had promised Soham he’d do it with him whenever he made it.
Amitabh Bachan, the Bollywood icon, returns home from the private Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after a week long care of stomach ache complaints.
Actor son, Abhishek, courted the 66-year-old star, who was hospitalized since his birthday last Saturday. The problem was diagnosed to be complications from a previous abdominal injury and hernia operation.
According to some media sources Mr. Bachchan, was sighted in morning wearing a white suit, waved at vigilant waiting crowd of fans who wish for his return to health.
