Q. If you had to date a historical character, who would he be and why?
A. I guess it must be Bhagat Singh. I have worked in the movie The Legend of Bhagat Singh and was very much inspired by him.
At the young age of 23, he was hanged for the sacrifices he made for our country. It’s not easy to make yourself be heard like that.
Q. What if the guy you like turns out to be a gay?
A. He would still be a good friend of mine.
Q. If you are going out on a date and someone makes a pass at you, would you want your guy to fight with that man?
A. I have seen that happening in movies and have always been inspired when Shah Rukh Khan does something like that in Baazigar and Darr.
Q. Among the current crop of Bollywood stars, who do you think is the hottest?
A. Aamir is my favorite. I think Hrithik is also perfect in terms of looks, height and body.
Q. Your first crush?
A. During my school days, I used to like a cricketer. But now I feel too embarrassed to even take his name. He is out of the team now.
There is much confusion over Amrita Rao’s new love is it Goher Mumtaz the lead guitarist of Jal Band or Farhan Saeed the lead vocalist of the band?
An insider revealed, “Goher came to Mumbai to shoot the video Chalte Chalte, with Amrita. During the shoot, the duo became very friendly and gradually grew fond of each other. In fact, the shoot is over long back, but Goher keeps coming to India often.”
When Goher was asked about Amrita he said, “We are good friends. I don’t think there is anything wrong in sharing a great friendship. I don’t have many friends in India. She is one of my closest ones. Amrita and I are in touch. I come to India every month. We like spending time together. In fact, I have convinced her to come to Pakistan and perform here.”
Even Amrita kept mum about her new love, “Yes, I am quite fond of all three members (meaning Goher, Farhan Saeed and Shazi) of the band. It was a great opportunity to work with someone from Pakistan. Even a simple pleasure like sharing an ice cream with someone from across the border is fun. But love is confined only to the video. When I actually fall in love, the whole world will know about it.”

But finally, the job is done and Amrita has found her love in none other than Farhan Saeed, the lead vocalist of Pakistani band Jal (famous for their Woh Lamhe).
The duo met and got to know each other during the shoot of Jal’s new music video for their new album ‘Boond’. Amrita developed an admiration for the man’s attitude and mannerisms and they used to hang out a lot with each other. So strong has the bond developed between Amrita and Farhan that Farhan now frequently keeps to Mumbai from Pakistan just to be with Amrita. Good job from Cupid!
