Kolkata was literally caught in a frenzy and no points for guessing that the man behind all the action was none other than King Khan. In town with Juhi Chawla to launch the Kolkata Knight Riders team, Shah Rukh was more than eager to talk about his T20 team and team captain Sourav Ganguly. After being seen along with his son at many a cricket match, it’s only natural For many toassume that the little champ could have been his inspiration for spending big money in buying one of the franchisees. But Shah Rukh doesn’t quite agree. Instead, he says, “Young people are my inspiration. I have reached a stage in life where I am not attracted to everything. I do things if they are socially relevant. Few years back when I was in London for my back surgery, I was watching the European League Football. That’s when I thought, why can’t we have something similar to this in India? And then this IPL thing happened in cricket. I thought I should also be a part of it. I believe in myself and the fact that I can be a winner in what I do.” But this belief doesn’t mean SRK thinks he can pull off the show all by himself. “I have huge faith in people around me. Even when I’m giving a shot, there are at least a 100 people around me. The success of the shot depends on all of them. I believe in the unity and dignity of work. So, again it will be a team effort,” says the Bollywood Badshah. Probably that explains why the team has its motto, “Korbo, lorbo, jitbo re!” Yet, deep down, the actor, who has given a Chak De! to the women’s hockey team, seemed a tad disappointed with the news that India has failed to qualify for the Olympics. “I am just as sad as the rest of India. But we should quickly get over the blame game and get back to business,” he says, before talking about how his mother had got him a ticket for his first live match between India and Pakistan at Feroz Shah Kotla where Imran Khan had scored big runs. “I had promised my son to take him to World Cup soccer, but he fell sick. So, I took him to the T20 finals in South Africa.” Remind him about how his presence at the stadium had earned him bad press and he says, “I bring publicity wherever I go. I am SRK; I am publicity.” As the interview draws to an end, we wonder aloud about whether Juhi Chawla is still SRK’s lucky charm. King Khan, pauses for a second and then breaks into a smile, saying, “Nothing like that. In cricket, you have to work hard to win and hope it pays for us

Aamir Khan is the latest to join the list of film stars endorsing cellphones, which was announced at a press do on March 12. We talked to him on the occasion about his films, endorsements, and Shah Rukh Khan. SRK endorses the bestselling brand of cellphones in India, while you will be endorsing Samsung. What do you think about it?
Well, as always, he likes to come in second. (Is he implying Nokia is No. 2?) One can count the brands you endorse on fingertips. Why are you as choosy about them as your films?
I don’t like to endorse a product until I’m myself satisfied with it. When I saw the new Samsung range, I was really impressed. It’s a leader in terms of quality, technology and the features they offer. An attempt to being perfect is what sets you apart. Where you don’t tire easily and stretch your limits. And that’s what I found in them. You had stopped using a cellphone and were happy without it?
What makes you come back to it?
I do creative work. So, I’d like to be in a position where I’m not reachable. But when I stopped using a cellphone, I was missing my family. And when I saw the new Samsung phones, I became a convert. A cellphone for me is a personal tool, and not a professional one. For you guys, journalists, it’s a professional tool, but that is not the case with me.
Saif Ali Khan breaking up with Italian beauty Rozza Catalano and falling in love with Kareena Kapoor seems to be working wonders for everyone. Where Saif and Kareena are reaching newer heights in their career, Rozza too has finally come out of Saif’s ex tag and is ready to sizzle on the silver screen.
This kohl-eyed lass has quite a few projects in her kitty. She will be seen in Samar Khan’s ‘Shaurya’ set to release this April. She will also be seen in Partho Ghosh’s ‘Ek Second Jo Zindagi Badal De’ where she stars alongside Jackie Shroff and Manisha Koirala.
Recently, she was clicked while shooting for an item song choreographed by Saroj Khan for her movie ‘Desh Drohi’ at Film City in Mumbai. Aryan Vaid and Manoj Tiwari are her male co-stars in the film.
How well the lady performs in these projects will decide the swing of her career in days to come.

Having choreographed Shah Rukh Khan’s item song for Rakesh Roshan’s Krazzy 4, choreographer Ahmed Khan was all set to guide Hrithik Roshan’s through identical rhythms. But now there’s a problem. Because of Hrithik’s knee problem his version of the item song has been pushed from February into March. “And the dates are clashing with the song that I’ve to do with Shahid Kapoor for Ken Ghosh’s film. The dates were firmed in long ago. And I don’t know what to do! Shahid is not just my buddy, he’s like my brother. Besides the song requires a lot of special effects. It’s a complicated number. There’s no way I can disappoint him,” says Ahmed currently wrapping up the production work for Pathshala featuring a cast of phenomenally-talented child actors. But now Ahmed needs to find a way out of the deadlock regarding Hrithik’s item song. “We’re trying to work out a solution. However if all fails then there’s no choice I’ll have to go with Shahid. Hrithik will have to get another choreographer.” Ironically at a time when Ahmed is taking his job as a filmmaker so seriously he’s suddenly much in-demand as a choreographer. In fact he has just choreographed a huge number with Aamir Khan in Gajini. “With his newly-acquired muscles and toned body Aamir’s dance movements are phenomenal. The way he moves has to be seen to be believed,” says Ahmed
