If you’re a happy couple in Bollywood, you’re supposed to make your entries and exits with your lover. Try attending a social do alone, and tongues will start wagging. That’s exactly what happened with Bollywood’s hot jodi , Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, who starred together in ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’. While Ranbir Kapoor was busy shooting out of Mumbai, we spotted his girlfriend Deepika Padukone at a suburban multiplex watching the Aamir Khan starrer, Ghajini . And giving her company was a guy whom we didn’t recognize. As soon as the movie Ghajini ended, Deepika ran out of the theatre with the boy in tow, got into her car and zoomed away. Now the big question is: Does beau Ranbir Kapoor know of girlfriend Deepika’s outing? Or have we just spilled some controversial beans?
It can be remembered that when Deepika Padukone’s debut film Om Shanti Om had just hit the theatres, the actress was linked with Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh. But then when she went to Australia and began shooting with Ranbir Kapoor for Yashraj Films’ ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’, Deepika fell in love with Ranbir, and is known to have ‘dumped’ Yuvraj Singh. If talks are to be believed she simply messaged the cricketer telling him that it’s over!
Well, with this Deepika Padukone having been spotted with another guy, tongues are going to get wagging, too. It’s all part of showbiz, what to do!

Salman Khan is making news all over again. While his on-going war with Shah Rukh Khan is well known, Salman has no absolutely plans of making up with Shah Rukh.
On the contrary, he’s more than happy to provoke SRK.
Only recently we bumped into Salman Khan at Film City where he was shooting for ‘Veer’, a film that he has scripted himself. And we cattily asked Salman if he had watched Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. To this Salman Khan replied, “No, I haven’t, but I’ll surely watch ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’.” Surprised by his answer, we thought that Salman Khan is all set to sing a ‘peace’ tune and put an end to his war with Shah Rukh Khan. But just then he added, “I’ll watch the movie when it comes on TV.” And then he guffawed at his own sense of humour.
Wonder how Shah Rukh Khan is going to react to this one. But react he will, we’re sure!
Shah Rukh Khan-promoted Red Chillies Entertainment is foraying into television production by January 2009.The company is in talks with several general entertainment channels and has finalised an agreement with NDTV Imagine headed by Sameer Nair.An email sent to SRK elicited no response. But an executive with the company said: “We are in the process of setting up our TV division and forming a serious business plan. We are in talks with several entertainment channels for making TV software. In addition, we expect to announce several agreements with various channels for developing shows.” A company spokesperson refused to comment on investment details. SRK picked up a stake in BAG Glamour early this year in his personal capacity along with wife Gauri Khan. BAG Glamour is a subsidiary of BAG Films, under which the company launched an entertainment channel. NDTV Imagine CEO Sameer Nair confirmed the development.

Aamir Khan leaves no stone unturned. Not even loose ends when some critics decide to poke holes (blasphemy, he’s the ‘perfectionist’) in his newest release Ghajini, he decides to take them on .
So it was pleasant, but not a surprise, when he decided to confront the ‘critic’ himself. On ZOOM’s acerbic show, Face The Review hosted by trade analyst Komal Nahta, AK decided to confront the reviewer by replying to every charge.
But with the film breaking every concievable box-office record on its opening weekend itself, grossing four times larger than any previous release, he didn’t need to say anything in defense. Just smile enigmatically, like he does. Aamir loved the concept of the show as he could interact with his ‘first day first show’ audiences. So catch Aamir as he gets candid and answers all on Face the Review on Zoom tonight at 7.30 pm and tomorrow at 2.30 pm.
Her first film ‘Saawariya’ was a disaster, but she managed to get a huge fan following owing to her freshness and beauty. Talking about Sonam Kapoor, the gal has had no other releases as yet post ‘Saawariya’. She is busy doing Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Delhi 6’ opposite Abhishek Bachchan and has just signed in her first endorsement deal.
Now, the young actress will be the brand ambassador for international cosmetic brand L’Oreal and will launch its new range of products targeted at the young generation. Aishwarya Bachchan has been the brand face of L’Oreal for three years now. However, looking at her age and status, the company has decided to sign in young face Sonam Kapoor for their new product to be launched soon.
Ash will continue to be with the brand but she will represent only women of her ages and Sonam, the younger groups. Sonam was signed for a huge amount commensurate with what the actresses of today like Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are charging. The deal was brought about by celebrity management company, Atul Kasbekar’s Bling. Sonam has already shot for her first L’Oreal ad which will be launched sometime in January next year (2009).
