It’s been 25 years since they acted in the landmark super duper hit film, Prema Loka. But the film’s heroine and hero Ravichandran, remain friends even today.
So when Juhi arrived in the city for the recent IPL match, the first person she called was the Crazy Star himself!
Says Ravichandran, “We’ve been in touch off and on. And since it’s been a while since we’ve spoken, I was surprised when she called me! Juhi’s come to Bangalore after a long time and asked me about the well-being of my family,” says the actor. Now do we also see plans for a sequel to Prema Loka?
Business partners or not, stars never leave their ‘Konnection’. Although Dreamz Unlimited, a production house jointly owned by Juhi Chawla, Shah Rukh Khan and Aziz Mirza, may have bombed, they are still very much together. While SRK and Juhi have joined hands for the IPL, she will be a surprise package in Aziz Mirza’s Kismet Konnection. She is to play the role of a gypsy fortune-teller, which would mean a complete makeover for Juhi. She has to be dressed in loud, gaudy, and glitzy clothes. This transformation will surely be worth the wait.
She has already played a psychiatrist in the superhit comedy ‘Deewana Mastana’. After a decade, Juhi Chawla will again be seen playing the same profession in ‘Krazzy 4’ where she is in charge of treatment for the ‘four crazy men’ - Arshad Warsi, Irrfan Khan, Rajpal Yadav and Suresh Menon. The film also stars Dia Mirza, Rajat Kapoor and Zakir Hussain. Directed by debutant Jaideep Sen, this again is a comedy. Juhi is known for her excellence in comedy and she looks equally promising in the initial promos of this Rakesh Roshan’s production. Though she had played a doctor in Suneel Darshan’s ‘Dosti-Friends Forever’, this would be only her second outing as a psychiatrist. With special appearances by Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Rakhi Sawant, the film is looking at a 11th April release.
