Saif Ali Khan had been hospitalized in Leelavati hospital on Christmas eve owing to a stomach upset, but now he is well on the way to recovery.
Speaking from his hospital bed at Leelavati hospital on Dec 26, Saif said, “I’m almost recovered now. I’m going home today (27 Jan). It was nothing, really.
I returned from Philadelphia from the shooting of Rensil d’Silva’s film on 23rd night. And since I was missing all the Mumbai ka khana, I gorged indiscriminately on local junk food, sev puri bhelpuri, paani puri….puri ki puri fauj went into my stomach.”
Saif claims it was nothing serious and he is going for a holiday with Kareena as pre-planned. She said, “It was gastroenteritis. Yes, I’ve been in hospital twice in the recent past. Once it was just an appendicitis. And the other time it was far more serious. After going through what I did the last time I’m hardly going to get scared by a little stomach infection.”
He added, “Actually it’s much less scary than it looks. I’ve got a drip coming out of my hand, so that makes it look kind of serious. But it’s nothing. I’m fine. Just a little sleepy. In fact Kareena and I are going on our holiday to the mountains as planned.”
Though a couple of animation movies released in 2008, not even one of them were successful at the box office. ROADSIDE ROMEO had at least stood out from animation’s perspective while JUMBO made waves due to Akshay Kumar factor. However, the rest of them just fizzled completely hence putting a question mark on the future of animation films in India.Had it not been for Yash Raj Films’ practice of minimal promotion of their films, ROADSIDE ROMEO could well have been the second Bollywood animation film to have worked with the audience after HANUMAN. While one or two have still been decent attempts at the least, the remaining have been plain shoddy.
Things could have just gone right for ROADSIDE ROMEO had its pitching amongst the audience was done in a better way. It was released without any fanfare and worse, the two best things about the film – its animation and coming together of Saif and Kareena behind the mike – were not just not highlighted enough for the audience. In Fact no promotion was done for them besides the minimal movie teasers on TVs. ROADSIDE ROMEO may not be emotionally charged or hilariously funny like its Hollywood counterparts. But still, it was watchable at the least. And for that, most of the credit should go to Tata Elexsi – VCL that has managed to get some stupendous 3D animation in place. Whether it is shot taking, moving frames, transition from one situation to another, lip movements or lighting – everything about ROADSIDE ROMEO comes across as a fresh experience.
In fact for those who haven’t been exposed to the Hollywood animation flicks, this is a truly unique experience.
For her forthcoming ‘Kambakth Ishq’ Kareena Kapoor has decided to follow the looks of Sarah Jessica Parker from ‘Sex and the City’. Kareena is quoted as saying, “My looks in Kambakht Ishq will be something audiences have not seen before. It is completely different from Tashan, Golmaal Returns and Jab We Met. I play a surgeon and a supermodel in Kambakht Ishq and my styling has been done keeping my character in mind. I always discuss my roles with Lolo and when I asked her about Kambakht Ishq, she told me to get inspiration from Sarah Jessica Parker’s look in Sex And The City. Lolo loves watching TV serials and Sarah’s cool, chic, glamorous and yet simple styles”.

The much-in-love couple is set to romance each other on the big screen in a Karan Johar production. Well, we did see them together in ‘Tashan’ and ‘Omkara’ but unfortunately the two could not romance each other onscreen.
We do not really miss anything on the romancing couple as they leave no stones unturned on publicizing their alleged ‘private’ affair in small screen - be it SRK’s famous flop show, ‘Paanchvi Paas…’ or the much recent mobile ad. And not to forget the infamous ‘love-bite’ episode where Bebo walked into a media event in a backless gown flaunting the big-black love bite which she alleged was a mosquito bite. Looks like she finally named the mosquito ‘Saif’!
And, now, here’s the big news…
Bebo and Saif are apparently moving in together into a luxurious apartment designed by her favourite co-star Akshay Kumar’s wife Twinkle.
“I have told Saif that I will be giving him points while working with him for Karan’s film and only after the schedule is over will I decide whether he has become my favorite co-star or not. I love the story as it’s set against a different backdrop. My favorite co-star is Akshay Kumar as there’s a great comfort level while working with him. Lolo and I are also very close to Akshay’s wife Twinkle who is designing Saif’s and my flat in Bandra”, a news daily quoted Kareena as saying.
So now, the two have advanced to a new level of a relationship from just lovers to ‘full-time live-in lovers!’

Lolo loves watching the TV serial and Sarah’s cool, chic, glamorous and yet simple styles.” Designer Aki Narula went shopping for Kareena’s clothes in Paris and Milan. Kareena adds, “My character is based in Los Angeles. I have gone in for different hairstyles. My look is more voluptuous and sexy in Kambakht Ishq so I had to go on a different diet and exercise regime. My carbohydrate intake went up but my exercise routine was cut down. Though I was still doing yoga it was milder and from seven days a week, I now exercise only three days a week.”Kareena adopts a healthier and sans make-up look for Rensil’s film. She says, “As I leave for Karan Johar’s film (directed by Rensil D’Silva) in Philadelphia, it’s for the first time in one and a half years that I won’t be carrying any diet or trainer with me.
