The framework to launch India’s first 3 dimensional PC Action Game based on a Bollywood flick has been made. The film is none other than the latest fad among film lovers and the action oriented Aamir Khan’s ‘Ghajini’. One of the leading film production and distribution companies Eros International worked together with the game development company FXLabs to create this game which can use the immense popularity and craze the film has already generated to be a top favourite among the gaming lovers.
The game has been titled as ‘Ghajini-The Game’ and will be made available in the Indian and International markers by Eros International.By being a partner in the creation of the game Eros International is trying to get a taste of the nature of the business of games based on hit Bollywood films.Aamir Khan was also much exited at the idea of the game based on ‘Ghajini’ and has lent his voice.
The game makers promises to give a fantastic opportunity to all the Ghajini fans to experience the movie in a more intimate way through movie locations and scenes recreated in the 3D world and live the tough life as experienced by the lead character Sanjay played by Aamir Khan.
This is another addition to the gestures of friendship between Aamir and Salman Khan. Salman is all praises and best wishes for Aamir’s ‘Ghajini’ so much so that he himself painted out two paintings of Aamir from ‘Ghajini’.
The paintings, in keeping with the somewhat dark theme of the film, are in black and white and a noticeable aspect of both the paintings is the fact that both of them depict Aamir’s by-now-famous Ghajini hairstyle.
Asin, the leading lady of “Ghajini” on last Wednesday unveiled the paintings at a special function at the Inox at Nariman Point in South Mumbai. Asin said she was “highly impressed” by the creative talent of the star “who can paint so well”.
Not to mention, both Aamir and Asin are keeping their fingers crossed as their film goes into Janta’s court this Christmas.

Though Shah Rukh Khan is the craze among Polish youth, it was Ashutosh Gowariker’s epic romance Jodhaa Akbar that charmed cinegoers during a month-long Hindi film festival held across 12 places in Poland, a country that has a surprisingly large number of Bollywood fans.
If the majestic beauty of Jodhaa Akbar, which had Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai in the lead, impressed film buffs, Aparna Sen’s Mr. and Mrs. Iyer also left a deep impression on audiences during the fest called ‘Ticket to Bollywood’.
“Jodhaa Akbar gives us a few glimpses of the medieval history of India. All these years we were glued to the beauty of the Taj Mahal alone. Now we can understand the intricacies of a secular experiment of the great Mughal king Akbar,” said Gabellia Krzyzowska, a zealous Indophile.”The beauty of Aishwarya Rai is breathtaking and the former Miss World has graduated into a fine star,” said Krzyzowska’s husband Janusz, who is a leading Indologist.

Controversies seem to be something which Bollywood has been unable to do away with and Aamir Khan-starrer ‘Ghajini’, scheduled for a Christmas Day release, is the latest in that category. The Madras High Court yesterday put on hold the release of ‘Ghajini’ after a copyright violation suit was filed by the producer of the original Tamil version.
The suit was filed by A Chandrasekharan against the producer of the Hindi version, Allu Aravind, director A R Murugadoss and distributor Adlab Films. In August, the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) sought a ban on Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Singh is Kinng’ for allegedly ridiculing the Sikh community. The film’s promos, showing a Sikh character wearing a turban while sporting a French cut beard, were later withdrawn.
In February, Rajputs in Rajasthan blocked the screening of the big budget Ashutosh Gowarikar-directed ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, accusing the filmmaker of distorting history.According to them, Jodhaa was the daughter of Udai Singh of Marwar and was married to Salim, Akbar’s son. But the film showed Jodhaa as Akbar’s wife as Gowarikar claimed he had the backing of historians and a royal family of Rajasthan to prove it. PTI

It is not the first time it has happened for Yash Raj Films, but it has certainly happened the fastest. Barely a day had gone by post the release of RAB NE BANA DI JODI that the Oscar library had made a request for the script for its permanent collection. The sensitivity of the screenplay and the unusual love story attracted the attention of the staff at the library right away.
The scripts in the collection reside at the Margaret Herrick Library and are made accessible for research purposes only; students, filmmakers, writers and actors are among the regular patrons. Screenplays may only be viewed in the library; they do not circulate. Also, no screenplay is allowed to be photocopied.
The invitation is recognition that the screenplay of RAB NE BANA DI JODI stands out from the crowd – not just among Indian movies but movies released worldwide. As the movie goes from strength to strength at the box office, it is a tribute to the entire team whose passion, hard work and sheer creative onus, made the film such a refreshing change of pace for jaded audiences.
