“The sun is shining from the right side in our relationship. Let’s see how the days unfurl,” says Neha Dhupia.
Dressed in a short dress, Neha settles down for an interview comfortably, even as she talks about her comfort factor – a pair of jeans and t-shirt.
“It’s more me… There is nothing like denims. I have a professional duty to look good, that is why I wear dresses and other ensembles, but its jeans and a top for which you have to give zero thought and it looks good,” she says.
“After Mithya, I have not thought of a holiday because I want to use this time to the fullest. You should strike when the iron is hot. I am getting a few good scripts now, and I want to choose carefully. It’s mostly comedy, nothing heavy or head-hurting. Just when you think nothing’s happening in life… so much starts happening and you get really excited,” she gushes.
And what about the episode with Richard Branson? Neha fields this question calmly, “We’d been practicing a few steps backstage before the program began. I was teaching him a few dance moves. When we went on stage he started doing his own steps and the next thing I know, he’s picked me up and twirled me around. It was very sudden and I was shocked, but ultimately, I didn’t get hurt or exposed so there was no need to make an issue out of it.”
