The actor rubbishes reports about her having a cosmetic surgery and says she might take legal action against the doctor who spread the news, reports PRITHWISH GANGULY. Recently a television channel aired a programme in which a doctor held up one of Priyanka Chopra’s old pictures and explained what kind of surgeries she might have undergone to get her recent sizzling look. This hasn’t gone down too well with Priyanka and she says she might take legal action against the doctor or the channel.“We might take some legal action. We are seeing if people are picking this up,” Priyanka told After Hrs.This former Miss World also says that she really gets upset hearing or seeing ‘false news’ about her. “It does affect me. I feel sad that people who write such things do not understand that though I’m a celebrity for them but I’m someone’s daughter, relative or neighbour. So, when they write such things about me or my personal life, which are not true, they fail to realise that it may affect my parents who might be reading what they wrote the next day,” she says.
She adds, “I understand that we are celebrities and people want to know everything about us, but this is not right. You can’t marry me off to someone one day, make me go through a break-up and even write that I have done a crime just because you want to make news.”Priyanka has also made news recently as some papers claimed that she and her Fashion co-star Kangana were not getting along well with each other. Apparently Kangana was not happy with Priyanka getting all the limelight. “There is no truth behind this news. I have to deny this news now because people will keep on writing about it. People like these mirch masalas – two girls working together cannot be friends. I’m not saying that Kangana and I are back-slapping buddies, but we really get along well and she was tremendous in Fashion,” says Priyanka. These issues, notwithstanding, Priyanka has lots to smile as Fashion set the cash registers ringing and she was also appreciated for her performance.

Salman Khan has been doing his round of interviews in preparation of impending release Yuvvraaj, and has once again taken the opportunity to bash his once good friend Shah Rukh Khan.
The hurt within Salman’s heart was once more noticeable in his interview for Mid-Day newspaper. When asked as to why he was telling his family members to keep away from Shah Rukh, he denied saying this, “No I haven’t told them that. If they want to participate in SRK’s family events they are more than welcome to do that. But don’t you think that it’s a kind of a joke that from one side it’s straight from the heart from one family and from one family it’s straight from the brain? Oh yeh Salman ke behalf pe aa rahe hai so he (Salman) looks like a fool. Yeh sabko bulaya gaya, yeh sab aayenge, they are all here, so Salman must be wrong. Because my family is socialising at SRK’s family events!”
Salman then went onto state that it was Shah Rukh who told the media about their little disagreement. “As soon as Shah Rukh left the party, he started calling up the media! I didn’t speak till one week after the fight because he was trying to put me in the middle of something which is not cool from any angle! That is the time I stood up and started speaking. There is no reason for disrespect. Everybody messes up. I have messed up also not once but so many times, without any malice, any manipulation or agenda. If things go wrong between two buddies we say ‘okay buddy let’s hang out together and sort it out’ but if you are going to mess up and disrespect me then forget it,” said a tearful Salman.
Responding to Shah Rukh’s statement of Salman only thinking with his heart, he says, “The right side of my head is my heart. I will always do what is right. I am human man! I am trying to be human. I have lots of flaws but I am taking care of that. But there are some things I don’t have jealousy, incompetence, insecurity and maliciousness. I don’t have a temper either, though I may get angry. And if I am wrong, I have the courage to call up and apologise. Say sorry and I am fine. What I say is what I do. I don’t say something and do something else and think of something totally different.”

Adding to another fine feather in her cap, Fashion star Priyanka Chopra drops by at Fame Adlabs to meet doting fans. With the idea of promoting the film pretty Priyanka, along with co-star Mugdha Godse visited her fans at Fame Adlabs that was screening Fashion.
‘Fashion’, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar of ‘Corporate’ and ‘Page 3′ fame, is running successfully all over India. Here are few pics of the gorgeous fashion idols at the press episode.
Payal Rohatagi knows for sure how to grab eyeballs. And this time she has copied Ash costumes from head to toe from the famous Kajra Re song (from Yash Chopra’s film Bunti Aur Babli) for her forthcoming movie Dil Kabbadi.
Payal’s character in Dil Kabbadi is of a yoga instructor, who is having an extra marital affair with Irfan Khan, and together they are play-acting various roles to spice up their affair. In this particular sequence they enact the Kajra Re sequence.
“The central idea behind this song was identification with the audience, explains debutant director,” Anil Sharma.
“Irfan and Payal play games in bedroom and play act several roles… we wanted sequences or acts that audience could identify with and Kajra Re won hands down,” he adds.
Said Payal Rohatagi before heading for Bigg Boss’ house where she is going stay for a week, “I was extremely excited for this song called Good Night… This song will show me sporting different looks and one of the look is where I do the mujra act. It is very special to me as my entire look is very different to what I have ever looked till now. My outfit is similar to that of Aishwarya’s in the Kajra Re Song. I really enjoyed doing the song with Irfan. He dances really well and has added the required humour to the song. I love my look….”

A news daily quoted a source as saying, “Katrina has been making entries in this diary for the last three months since she began shooting for ‘New York’. It’s like her personal diary with inputs from John and Neil. It will cover all their experiences peppered with interesting anecdotes while shooting for the film in New York and Philadelphia.

Imtiaz Ali who has just directed Saif’s untitled home production has offered Saif Ali Khan a chance to make his dream come true. He may soon have his own Rock On kind of musical film to play the lead. Divulges Saif excitedly, “It’s a film called Rock Star. I don’t know if I’m equipped to handle it. Rock music is about a lot of attitude. More than just playing with an attitude, it’s way of thinking. I need to be more true to the music. It’s easy to call any star a rock star. But I think it’s more than your lifestyle. It’s about being able to live your life the way you want.” Saif wants to work on the attitude and the guitar before doing Rock Star.On Friday night Saif played the guitar for the charity concert for Bihar flood relief. He played the strings so hard his fingers were bleeding profusely afterwards.”It has never happened before. My fingers are seriously cut. This is a sign of how seriously I played the guitar. And if I was a seasoned player that wouldn’t happen. So I want to pursue this seriously.As for my performance on Friday night I think of the two AC/DC songs ‘Livewire’ and ‘A Whole Lot Of Rosie’ I think I performed one really well the other not so well. But finally it was fine.”
Saif now intends to pursue guitar playing on a war scale.He owns two guitars and he intends to carry them with him to all his outdoor shootings to play during free hours. “I own two beautiful guitars …Fender Stratocaster(which Mark Knopfler and Eric Clapton own) and a Gibson Lespaul which was gifted to me recently by the company’s branch in India. I think I’ll start using that. I want my guitar practice to go on side by side with the shooting. I will travel with my guitars.”About the charity concert on Friday night Saif says, “It went really well. I’d rate my performance 7 out of 10. But I was floored by how well the Pentagram lead guitarist Randolph played, also Tushar who’s done so much music for Yashraj Films…he played so well! In comparison I’m still learning to play the guitar. “Saif is honest in his self-assessment. “I seriously need to get out of the amateur player’s zone. I love rock music. It’s very liberating. It’s the same feeling as when we all went dancing as a teenager. The guitar helps me let off steam.
