Amidst much criticism and controversies Vidya Balan has managed to carve her niche in this glam world of Bollywood. Though not fitting in the criteria of hot, bold and sexy leading Bollywood ladies she has managed to bring success to her movie based on her acting skills.
If you thought that only serious acting was on this talented actress’ cards, let us tell you that the lady has a good hand at mimickery as well and is known for her chirpy and bubbly nature on the sets. In the words of a unit member from one of the Vidya’s movies, “You should hear Vidya mimic. She can imitate other actors with utmost ease! It’s a treat to watch her take off on them. She’s the life of our night schedules. She is high in spirits even at wee hours.
She never lets other get bogged down by dullness and is always smiling, cracking jokes and imitating other people. The grueling schedules do not look grueling any more with her around.”
What we suggest is that since the movie career is not really on a upward swing, why not give laughter shows a try, Vidya?
He is a complete package of talents. Farhan Akhtar, who had already carved his niche as an ace director in Bollywood, has proved his versatility as a producer, actor and singer with ‘Rock On’. The movie has been a superhit and this has changed things for Farhan.
With just one territory left to venture forth and that is modeling, Farhan has already taken a step towards it. So, now he will be seen endorsing the automobile major Maruti Suzuki’s latest offering, a small segment car named ‘A-Star’, which has a well-suited tagline ‘Stop @ (At) Nothing‘.
Farhan confirmed the news saying, “Yes. I am endorsing Maruti’s ‘A-Star’. Besides the press ads there’s also a TV commercial that has been shot which will get aired by early next month.”
Akshay Kumar is not a new name for Hollywood. The actor has already paired with Hollywood stars like Denise Richards, Sylvester Stallone, Brandon Routh etc. Going a step further, Akki is supposedly all set to sing along with supermodel, actress and singer Naomi Campbell in a duet for the animated movie ‘Jumbo’.
Naomi has acted in the movie ‘Miami Rhapsody’ earlier and is set to appear in another Hollywood movie with an Indian touch- ‘Karma, Confessions and Holi’ which also features Randeep Hooda and Sushmita Sen.
Khiladi Kingg Kumar is not behind with many projects in toe. His ‘Chandni Chowk to China’ is coming up in January. Also in progress are ‘Kambakht Ishq’, ‘Blue’, ‘Eight by Ten’ and Deepa Mehta’s ‘Komagata Maru’, which tells the story of the historic voyage and challenge to Canadian immigration laws early in the 20th century.

In the month of September a 15 year boy named Nasir Sultan was arrested by the Border Security Force (BSF) of India.Nasir’s crime was that he was from Pakistan and had crossed the Indian border illegally.
Subsequently he was put up in the juvenile jail at the Faridkot town in Punjab.The reason that propelled him to do the daring act was just a burning desire to see his favourite actor Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan and also participate in a TV reality singing contest.
Saying that he will come back in the evening, he had left his house on the morning of Auguest 14. Only after he landed up in the Jail, he called his parents to inform them of his condition.
The buzz is that Salman Khan made a romantic scene with real life girlfriend Katrina Kaif more passionate with an impromptu improvisation.
Well, the real life chemistry is bound to show but Salman kind of made things even better. It happened while shooting a romantic scene with Katrina for their latest film together - Yuvvraaj.
This particular scene was shot on the last day of the schedule in Austria. As there was not much time left, Subhash Ghai quickly explained the scene to Salman. In this particular scene, Katrina walks down a street with a friend of hers. Salman walks up to her and pulls her towards him with a slight tug.
But when the scene was being canned, spontaneous Sallu decided to improvise. He walked up to Katrina and pulled her towards him real close. Then he took her out of the camera’s frame only to re-enter with his hair completely ruffled.
Not surprisingly everyone on the sets enjoyed the scene. Ghai liked this scene better and okayed the shot.

Kareena Kapoor has ditched the supposedly Victoria ‘Posh’ Beckham- inspired size-zero look she had in Tashan and is to get curvy inspired by Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw) for Kambakht Ishq. Talking about her new look, Bebo says, “My looks in KI will be something audiences haven’t seen before. It’s completely different from Tashan, Golmaal Returns and Jab We Met. I play a surgeon and a supermodel in Kambakht Ishq and my styling has been done keeping my character in mind. I always discuss my roles with Lolo (sister Karisma Kapoor) and when I asked her about Kambakht Ishq, she told me to get inspiration from Sarah Jessica’s Parker’s look in Sex And The City. Lolo loves watching the TV serial and Sarah’s cool, chic, glamorous and yet simple styles.” Designer Aki Narula went shopping for Kareena’s clothes in Paris and Milan. Kareena adds, “My character is based in Los Angeles. I have gone in for different hairstyles. My look is more voluptuous and sexy in Kambakht Ishq so I had to go on a different diet and exercise regime. My carbohydrate intake went up but my exercise routine was cut down. Though I was still doing yoga it was milder and from seven days a week, I now exercise only three days a week.”Kareena adopts a healthier and sans make-up look for Rensil’s film. She says, “As I leave for Karan Johar’s film (directed by Rensil D’Silva) in Philadelphia, it’s for the first time in one and a half years that I won’t be carrying any diet or trainer with me.
