Amid the war of words between the three Khans - Aamir, Shah Rukh and Salman - the Ghajini star Aamir has declared that it is none other than superstar Amitabh Bachchan who is still the number one in Bollywood.
“For me Amitabh Bachchan is No 1. Do Lata Mangeshkar, Sachin Tendulkar and Amitabh Bachchan say they are number one? No one who sits on the top needs to say he is number one. Others keep claiming to be there,” said Aamir. Recently, Shah Rukh sparked a controversy by proclaiming himself the biggest brand and saying there cannot be any competition with him. Commenting on that Aamir said: “I don’t believe in competitions with others. I only compete with myself.”After a phase of cold war with his contemporary Shah Rukh, Aamir says he can’t dare to fight with him.”Do you think I could dare to fight with Shah Rukh. He is a good friend and so I can’t fight with him. I respect him a lot,” said Aamir, who was in capital over the weekend to promote his forthcoming film Ghajini.
The actor, who was is town giving his fans the Ghajini cut at an event, was in a jovial mood but tried his best to avoid queries about his cold war with Shah Rukh.He joked that by turning into a barber for a day, he was even promoting Shah Rukh’s next venture Billo Barber. His antics did not just end at that.Aamir’s forthcoming ventures is titled Three Idiots and the actor said the title should be rightfully given to the three Khans of Bollywood - including himself, Shah Rukh and Salman.“My forthcoming film after Ghajini is Rajkumar Hirani’s Three Idiots and I play the character of an idiot with R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi. But I think Shah Rukh, Salman and I are truly the three idiots of Bollywood,” Aamir said.He also cast a dig at Salman when he asked the crowd whether they want him to flaunt his body that he has toned up especially for Ghajini.”Who wants to see my eight packs?” he asked. But when there was a loud “Yes, we want to” from the audience, Aamir said: “Only Salman can show his packs. I can’t do it. It’s not my cup of tea.”

The latest long-lost buddy that Salman has kissed and made up with is Sanjay Dutt. The patch up happened on Thursday, on the sets of Anil Sharma’s Veer at Film City. The initiative was taken by Salman Khan, a few days ago, when he heard that Dutt was shooting at an adjoining set.
A source close to the production house said, “It is true that Salman came all the way to Sanju’s sets. But when he realised that Dutt was shooting for Bunty Walia, he quickly beat a retreat. It is a well-known fact that Walia was a part of Salman’s group until things soured between them.
So he regretfully turned back without meeting Dutt. When Dutt heard about this, he took charge of the situation. On Thursday afternoon, he walked up to Salman’s sets. The bitterness melted away the minute they hugged.”
They spent the next 45 minutes chatting with each other like long-lost friends. They have now promised to meet up regularly. At the end of the reunion, Dutt and Khan have decided to do a film together. The film will be produced by Sanjay.
So what had gone wrong between Salman and his erstwhile mentor and role model? The two were thick as thieves until the world tour where Salman apparently cut his hand to impress Dutt… a macho gesture that didn’t go down well with Dutt. And from then on they weren’t on talking terms.

It’s ironical that the most googled Bollywood actress feels lost and alone sometimes.Having gotten used to enjoying the adulation of fans and having constantly been busy with hectic work schedules during which she is surrounded by people, Katrina Kaif recently made a candid confession in an interview with Vogue magazine.
The gorgeous head-turner admitted that she is comfortable amidst masses; otherwise she feels deserted. “Actors feel lost without all the attention. I am most comfortable in front of 300 people on a set. Otherwise, I am lost. It’s too much quiet, too much alone,” said the beauty. In this very interview, Katrina also conceded her dislike for clubbing.“My body can’t afford regular clubbing”, she said.
The actress prefers to have a select group of friends in Bollywood rather than chumming up with every actor she works with. Sadly, Katrina also doesn’t get to spend ample time with her family, which stays in the UK.So the stunner has found the best way to beat her loneliness – by sinking herself into work. She is doing a good number of big projects including Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani , De Dhana Dhan and the soon-to-be-released New York with co-stars Ranbir Kapoor , Akshay Kumar and John Abraham respectively.
Well, that’s too interesting a company to make one feel lonely.
Boney Kapoor had to arrange a special chartered plane for Salman to help him get back to Mumbai from Greece for the shoot of Veer. Salman along with Ayesha Takia had been shooting in Greece for three song numbers for Boney’s Wanted Dead And Alive. Our source tells us, “Director of the film, Prabhu Deva had headed back home after shooting one song on the film’s lead pair, Salman and Ayesha as his son that time was seriously ill. He had given the responsibility of shooting two more songs to his elder brother, choreographer Raju Sundaram. They were being shot on three beautiful islands of Greece – Rhodos, Santorini and Paros. After the final song was shot in Paros, the weather suddenly became very inclement and threw the aircraft and sea schedules in a complete disarray. Salman was in a hurry to head back to Athens from Paros but just could because of the heavy backlog traffic. Sets of Salman’s Veer had been put up in Mumbai’s Filmcity and Miss Universe UK Liza Lazarus too had arrived to shoot for a song number with him. Salman was losing his nerve every single passing hour. Boney then came to his help and got a chartered flight booked for him on the morning of December 5th.
Boney’s son, Arjun gave Salman company as they went to Athens and from their caught a connecting flight for Mumbai. But Boney and his rest unit left Paros on the evening of 5th.” An industry insider quips, “Despite all this, Salman is in no mood to shoot for his remaining portions in Boney’s much delayed Kareena-Shahid starrer, Milenge Milenge.
Salman was to play a cameo part in the film and after his spat with Shahid during the Rockstars tour in 2006, Salman expressed his unwillingness to shoot for that film.”
The news is that director Kalpana Lajmi, who wrote the script of the movie ‘Singhasan’ keeping in mind Aishwarya Rai for the role of politician, now wants to make it with Deepika Padukone. deepika22-12-238×300 Deepika Padukone replaces Ashwarya Rai in Kalpana Lajmi’s film ‘Singhasan’ Kalpana stated that my uncle Guru Dutt was settled in Bangalore and so is Deepika’s father Prakash Padukone. Deepika Padukone is related to me. Although Deepika doesn’t know about it but she knows about me.Talking about her bond with Deepika Padukone, she stated, “Deepika Padukone and I are Saraswat Brahmins. Her family and mine can be traced back to Kashmir. We’re basically turned out Kashmiri pundits who migrated to Bangalore.”She further added, “I saw Deepika in ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and found her to have excellent qualities. I don’t think any other actress today has that quality. I was once planning to give the role of a politician to Aishwarya in the film ‘Singhasan’ but now Deepika Padukone will do that role.”
However it is said that Deepika Padukone has not given her consent. Kalpana said, “Why should she? I’m a down-and-out filmmaker. I haven’t put a project together in the last three years because of various reasons. A filmmaker like me suffers a double disadvantage by being a woman.”
Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan and Mexican beauty Barbara Mori will tell an intense love story in Kites. The film is making much hullabaloo for the heavy loaded intense scene between Hrithik and Barbara. It speaks about love, emotions, hatred, jealousy and animosity. Kites will show Hrithik speaking in Hindi and Barbara in Spanish. Though diversified in culture, the duo will fall in love and go beyond any language and restrictions. It is a sort of love triangle. A twist in the tale appears when sexy Kangana Ranaut steps in. Director Anurag Basu is full of praises for the two lead stars, “Hrithik and I really enjoyed working together. I always respected him as an actor but now I respect him as a human being too. Hrithik and I made the film honestly, just like we wanted to.” He commented about Barbara too, “The day I narrated about ‘Kites,’ I knew I had chosen the right actress. I’ve this bad habit of narrating very fast. Barbara is a Mexican actress, so she is not aware of Hindi and also less familiar with English. But the way she understood my story, hats off to her.
Her expressions changed while I was narrating the story. I’ve never seen any actor responding this way. Even though she comes from a different culture, the emotions of love and relationships are the same. Her approach was definitely different.”
Hope Kites marks another big hit of Hrithik.
